‘One-off’ teaching

We can arrange teaching to meet your needs at the best pace and timescale for you.What’s more we can teach at your home if that is most suitable. For many people the extra convenience makes the extra cost (our travel time and expenses) well worthwhile.

VHF Short Range Certificate (SRC)

We’ve been teaching this ever-popular course for over five years and always receive very high ratings from our students. One comment that keeps on surfacing is that somehow we manage to make the course ‘fun’ as well as an intensive learning day covering the wide syllabus.

We teach on a scheduled basis. Most courses are run over one day. If our scheduled courses do not meet your needs why not check to see whether we can run a course to suit your (or a small group’ s) schedule.

RYA Radar

The number of yachts with radar is increasing. The need for an active means of protecting ourselves from large shipping has never been greater. Can you use radar effectively?

This popular one-day course is the way to learn the basics and help increase your safety afloat.

We normally teach it on a scheduled basis but can always arrange a course to suit your needs.

Practical Teaching

‘Own boat’ teaching is a speciality. It can vary from a one day session to a full RYA course including an ICC assessment. If you have a (sailing) boat and want some teaching aboard her then look no further.

We provide scheduled RYA practical training courses in conjunction with Sailing Days using their Chichester based yacht.
